Comment trouver sa raison d’être (ikigai) ?
Il est indispensable d’avoir une mission de vie pour être parfaitement épanoui. Sans cette dernière, de nombreux doutes peuvent s’inviter dans votre quotidien et ruiner votre moral. Mais une question se pose : comment trouver sa raison d’être ? C’est ce que je vous propose de découvrir à travers cet article !
Qu’est-ce que la raison d’être ?
La raison d’être (également connue sous le nom d’ikigai) est tout simplement ce qui vous anime et vous pousse à vous lever chaque matin. Cette mission de vie vous caractérise et est nécessaire pour vous sentir heureux jour après jour !
Très souvent reliée au monde professionnel (dans le salariat comme dans l’entrepreneuriat), la raison d’être est propre à chacun ! Il ne faut pas chercher à avoir le même ikigai que vos proches, car il ne correspondrait pas forcément à vos envies et à vos valeurs. Pour résumer, la raison d’être est primordiale pour être aligné avec vous-même !
Comment trouver son ikigai ?
Votre ikigai se divise en quatre points essentiels :
- Les choses qui vous plaisent ;
- Votre expertise et vos compétences ;
- Les besoins des gens autour de nous ;
- Ce qui vous permet de gagner de l’argent.
C’est donc un équilibre entre ces quatre composants et vous seul pouvez le trouver. L’exercice ci-dessous va vous permettre d’avoir une idée plus claire de votre raison d’être et vous serez à même de prendre les bonnes décisions !
Quelles sont vos passions ?
Listez vos différentes passions et les activités que vous aimez faire et qui vous rendent heureux ! Vos passions vont être la base de votre raison d’être et vous ne pouvez pas trouver votre ikigai si vous n’êtes pas conscient de ce que vous aimez vraiment faire.
Quelle est votre expertise ?
Il y a forcément des activités dans lesquelles vous êtes doué ! Que cela soit des compétences acquises naturellement (des soft skills par exemple) ou via une formation, votre expertise peut grandement améliorer le quotidien de nombreuses personnes. Et c’est justement le troisième point fondamental de l’ikigai !
Que pouvez-vous apporter au monde ?
Maintenant que vous connaissez vos compétences et votre expertise, analysez bien ce que vous pourriez faire pour aider les gens autour de vous ! Ce point est donc tourné vers les autres et récompense votre altruisme. Cela ressemble à une étude de marché et vous permet de savoir si vos compétences sont demandées !
Demandez-vous également si des gens seront encore intéressés par votre expertise dans plusieurs années. Il serait dommage de créer un business qui n’a aucun potentiel sur le long terme et qui serait obsolète dans 2 ans.
Comment monétiser vos compétences ?
Enfin, il est temps de voir comment vous pouvez gagner votre vie grâce à vos passions, votre expertise et les besoins des gens qui vous entourent. Contrairement à ce que beaucoup de personnes disent, il est possible de générer de l’argent grâce à sa passion ! Vous devez vous concentrer sur le fait d’apporter de la valeur ajoutée au monde entier pour créer une mission qui vous dépasse. Vérifiez bien également si des entrepreneurs ont déjà eu du succès dans votre domaine pour éviter de vous retrouver dans un cul-de-sac !
Bien évidemment, trouver sa raison d’être ne se fait pas en quelques minutes. C’est un vrai travail sur soi et cela demande de nombreux efforts. Mais une fois que vous l’aurez trouvée, votre vie ne sera plus la même !
